Founded in New York City in 2001, NTD Television is a non-profit organization with a rich history rooted in the pursuit of truth and justice. Our founders, Chinese Americans who witnessed the events of Tiananmen Square and the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, were deeply troubled by the prevalence of government censorship and disinformation. Faced with a lack of reliable news sources, they felt compelled to establish NTD as a platform for sharing untold stories and shedding light on issues that were being overlooked by mainstream media.
Over the years, NTD has evolved into the largest Chinese media company outside of China, serving as a vital source of information and cultural exchange for Chinese communities around the world. Our 24/7 TV network reaches millions of viewers across the United States, broadcasting over-the-air and on cable in major cities where Chinese populations reside. Additionally, our uncensored satellite feed delivers programming directly into mainland China, providing an alternative source of news for audiences hungry for unbiased reporting.
In recent years, NTD has expanded its reach to a broader English-speaking audience, earning a reputation as a trusted source of news and inspiration. Our commitment to journalistic integrity and our dedication to promoting universal values have resonated with viewers across cultural and linguistic boundaries. As we continue to grow and evolve, we invite you to join us on our journey of discovery and enlightenment.
Whether you’re seeking uplifting stories that restore your faith in humanity or unbiased news coverage that keeps you informed about the world around you, NTD Television is your destination for meaningful content that transcends borders and fosters understanding. Thank you for being a part of our community, and we look forward to sharing many more stories of hope, resilience, and compassion with you in the days ahead.
